07/18/2016: Assailants, including suicide bombers equipped with explosives-laden vehicles, raided Rutbah, Al Anbar, Iraq. At least 15 people, including three police officers and 12 assailants, were killed and five civilians were injured in the assault and ensuing clash. The Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) claimed responsibility for the attack.
