Incident Summary:

07/29/2016: Assailants attacked a security checkpoint in Sheikh Zuweid, North Sinai, Egypt. At least 16 assailants, including a suicide bomber driving an explosives-laden vehicle, were killed as security forces repelled the assault. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Sinai Province of the Islamic State.
