Incident Summary:

08/01/2016: An explosive device detonated near the vehicle of Sakhi Dad Osmani in Khwaja Sabz Posh district, Faryab, Afghanistan. At least two people, including Osmani, an Afghan Police district chief, were killed and one officer was injured in the blast. This was one of three incidents in Khwaja Sabz Posh on the same day; the victim was traveling to a security post that was under attack. The Taliban claimed responsibility for the incident.
