08/03/2016: Assailants set fire to Omengan Construction and Development Corporation equipment in Guinaang, Apayao, Philippines. An unknown number of employees were held hostage and were released a short time later. There were no reported casualties in the attack. The New People's Army (NPA) claimed responsibility for the incident and demanded an extortion.
