08/14/2016: Assailants opened fire on security forces in Kangarwa, Borno, Nigeria. At least 16 assailants were killed and 12 soldiers were injured in the ensuing clash. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to Boko Haram.
