08/14/2016: An explosive device intended to target a security forces convoy detonated prematurely while being planted in Chah Anjeer, Helmand, Afghanistan. Six assailants were killed in the blast. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attempted attack to the Taliban.
