08/24/2016: Assailants abducted two engineers at a work project in La Cooperativa, Tibu, Norte de Santander, Colombia. Both hostages were released unharmed the following day, on August 25, 2016. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the attack to the National Liberation Army of Colombia (ELN).
