08/25/2016: An explosive device detonated targeting Asadullah Sharifi's convoy in Tajkirgan, Balkh, Afghanistan. Sharifi, a National Assembly member, was not harmed, but four people were killed and 14 people were injured in the blast. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Taliban.
