09/01/2016: A suicide bomber detonated an explosives-laden vehicle and other assailants opened fire at the district governor's compound in Charkh, Logar, Afghanistan. At least two security personnel and seven assailants were killed and two security personnel and eight assailants were injured in the attack. The Taliban claimed responsibility for the incident.
