09/01/2016: Assailants attacked joint security personnel in Caldiran, Van, Turkey. Two security members were killed and seven security members were injured in the assault; the victims included soldiers and village guards. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK).
