09/04/2016: An assailant attempted to set fire to a vehicle laden with gas canisters in Paris, France. The vehicle failed to ignite and was later dismantled by security forces. The assailant, identified as Ornella G., had pledged allegiance to the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).
