09/08/2016: An explosive device detonated near a Rapid Response Force (RRF) van along Warsak Road outside Darmangi, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. At least one officer was killed and seven others were injured in the blast. Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and the Khorasan Chapter of the Islamic State separately claimed responsibility for the attack.

Success of a terrorist strike is defined according to the tangible effects of the attack.
