Incident Summary:

09/18/2016: Assailants opened fire on a vehicle transporting Pakistan Armed Forces civilian employees in Daudzai neighborhood, Peshawar, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. At least three employees were killed in the assault. The Khorasan Chapter of the Islamic State claimed responsibility for the attack. Separately, the Jamaat-ul-Ahrar faction of Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) claimed responsibility and stated that the incident was carried out because the military has animosity towards mosques.
