Incident Summary:

09/19/2016: Assailants ambushed a commercial convoy in Sanda, Borno, Nigeria. At least six civilians were killed and three soldiers were injured in the assault. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the attack to the Al-Barnawi faction of Boko Haram, also known as the Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP).
