Incident Summary:

09/21/2016: Assailants opened fire on Turkish Village Guards members in Akmes, Eruh district, Siirt, Turkey. At least two guards were killed and another was wounded in the assault. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the attack to the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK).
