09/26/2016: Assailants attacked military personnel in Bentiu, Unity, South Sudan. This was one of two related attacks targeting military personnel in the area on this date. Three soldiers and 16 assailants were killed and four soldiers were injured across both of the attacks. No group claimed responsibility for the incidents; however, sources attributed the attacks to the Sudan People's Liberation Movement in Opposition (SPLM-IO).
