Incident Summary:

10/00/2016: Sometime between July 1, 2016 and December 31, 2016, assailants executed Mohammed Ismail, an Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) member from England, in Raqqah, Syria. Ismail was accused of being a spy and giving away movement information of high-ranking members. The Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) claimed responsibility for the attack and stated that the victim was killed for giving away the location of Nasser Muthana, a leading recruiter, to western intelligence services.
