10/01/2016: Assailants attacked security forces constructing a checkpoint in Rafah, North Sinai, Egypt. Five assailants were killed in the ensuing clash. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Sinai Province of the Islamic State.
