Incident Summary:

10/05/2016: Assailants abducted 25 passengers on the Kabul-Bamyan highway in Zaywalayat, Wardak, Afghanistan. Five passengers were released on October 5, 2016 and 11 passengers were released on October 27, 2016. The whereabouts of the remaining hostages are unknown. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Taliban.
