10/10/2016: Assailants raided Chief Mercellinus Nlemigbo's residence in Mbatoli, Imo, Nigeria. Chief Nlemigbo, an All Progressive Congress (APC) leader, was not harmed; however, one of his police escorts was killed, a second was injured, and a third was kidnapped in the attack. The outcome of the kidnapping is unknown. No group claimed responsibility for the incident.
