Incident Summary:

10/11/2016: Assailants attacked a checkpoint in Bibi Hajira, Laghman, Afghanistan. This was one of three related attacks targeting checkpoints in the area on this date. Four people, including a police officer and three assailants, were killed and 22 others were injured across the three attacks. Assailants, police, and civilians were among the injured. No group claimed responsibility for the incidents; however, sources attributed the attacks to the Taliban.
