Incident Summary:

10/14/2016: Assailants opened fire on Frontier Corps (FC) personnel in Spini-Sabzal Cross neighborhood, Quetta, Balochistan, Pakistan. At least three soldiers were killed in the assault. The Jamaat-ul-Ahrar faction of Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and the Khorasan Chapter of the Islamic State separately claimed responsibility for the attack. Lashkar-e-Jhangvi also claimed responsibility and stated that the incident was carried out in retaliation for the death of three group members.
