10/21/2016: Assailants attacked military forces in Leer, Unity, South Sudan. At least 21 assailants and two soldiers were killed in the ensuing clash. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Sudan People's Liberation Movement in Opposition (SPLM-IO).
