Incident Summary:

10/24/2016: Assailants opened fire on the helicopter of Okram Ibobi Singh in Ukhrul, Manipur, India. Although Singh, the Manipur Chief Minister, was not harmed, at least one Manipur Rifles member was injured in the attack. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the National Socialist Council of Nagaland-Isak-Muivah (NSCN-IM).
