10/27/2016: An assailant stabbed a General Service Unit officer guarding the United States embassy in Nairobi, Kenya. The assailant was killed and the officer was injured in the attack. Jabha East Africa claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources also suspected that Al-Shabaab may have been involved in the attack.
