10/29/2016: Assailants opened fire on As Sidrah checkpoint in Rafah, North Sinai, Egypt. This was one of two related assaults on checkpoints in Rafah on this date. At least two conscripts were injured across both attacks. No group claimed responsibility for the incidents; however, sources attributed the attacks to the Sinai Province of the Islamic State.
