11/09/2016: An explosive device detonated near the vehicle of Haji Kurkhan in Buwayr, Al Hasakah governorate, Syria. At least three people, including Kurkhan, a People's Protection Units (YPG) commander, and two bodyguards, were killed in the blast. No group claimed responsibility for the attack.
