11/17/2016: A suicide bomber detonated an explosives-laden vehicle targeting security forces in Tahrir, Mosul, Nineveh, Iraq. In addition to the assailant, one soldier was killed and three soldiers were injured in the blast. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).
