11/23/2016: Assailants raided Huyum village, Borno, Nigeria. An unknown number of civilians were held hostage during the assault. At least five hostages were killed and the remaining hostages were released later the same day. This was one of three coordinated attacks in the area on this date. No group claimed responsibility for the incidents; however, sources attributed the attacks to Boko Haram.
