12/14/2016: Assailants and suicide bombers equipped with explosives-laden vehicles raided Tamim, Mosul, Nineveh, Iraq. This was one of three coordinated attacks in the city on the same day. Security forces repelled the assault, killing an unknown number of assailants. The Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) claimed responsibility for the attack.
