12/16/2016: Assailants and suicide bombers equipped with explosives-laden vehicles raided Intisar, Mosul, Nineveh, Iraq. This was one of eight coordinated attacks in the area on the same day. At least 27 assailants were killed in two of the eight events. The Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) claimed responsibility for the incident.
