Incident Summary:
12/20/2016: An explosive device detonated targeting people responding to an earlier blast at the Democratic Party of Iranian Kurdistan (PDKI) headquarters in Koysinjaq, Arbil, Iraq. This was one of two coordinated attacks in Koysinjaq on this day. Seven people, including PDKI officials and security officers, were killed and three people were injured across the two blasts. No group claimed responsibility for the incident.

Criteria
Criteria 1
The act must be aimed at attaining a political, economic, religious, or social goal. In terms of economic goals, the exclusive pursuit of profit does not satisfy this criterion. It must involve the pursuit of more profound, systemic economic change.
