12/25/2016: A roadside bomb detonated near the Akhund Baba shrine in Wardak, Laghman, Afghanistan. Two civilians were killed in the blast. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, an official attributed the attack to the Taliban. Sources also suspected that the Khorasan Chapter of the Islamic State may have carried out the attack.
