Incident Summary:

12/25/2016: Assailants and suicide bombers equipped with explosives-laden vehicles raided Shaima, Mosul, Nineveh, Iraq. This was one of three coordinated attacks in the area on the same day. Security forces repelled the three assaults, killing 51 assailants. No group claimed responsibility for the incidents; however, sources attributed the attacks to the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).
