12/26/2016: Assailants raided Afrah Shawqi al-Qaisi's house in Saydiyah area, Baghdad city, Baghdad governorate, Iraq. Qaisi, a journalist and Ministry of Culture employee, was kidnapped and one of her family members was assaulted during the attack. Qaisi was released unharmed on January 2, 2017. No group claimed responsibility for the incident.
