12/31/2016: A suicide bomber detonated in a market in Sinak area, Baghdad city, Baghdad governorate, Iraq. This was one of two coordinated explosions in the area within a short period of time. At least 28 people were killed and 43 people were injured across both attacks. The Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) claimed responsibility for the incidents.
