01/03/2017: Assailants opened fire on military vehicles in Lawdar district, Abyan, Yemen. At least two soldiers were killed and eight soldiers were injured in the assault. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to Al-Qaida in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP).
