Incident Summary:

01/13/2017: Assailant armed with projectiles and firearms attacked Nigerian Army (NA) soldiers in Kangarwa, Borno, Nigeria. At least 13 people, including three soldiers and 10 assailants, were killed and 27 other soldiers and an unknown number of assailants were injured in the ensuing clash. Boko Haram claimed responsibility for the incident.
