Incident Summary:

01/18/2017: Assailants attacked an Afghan National Police (ANP) post in Shalghamay, Kandahar, Afghanistan. At least two police officers were killed and three were injured in the ensuing clash. In addition, the assailants sustained an unknown number of casualties. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Taliban.
