02/03/2017: Security forces opened fire on assailants planting an explosive device at a Ring Road intersection south of Arish, North Sinai, Egypt. The device detonated in the clash, killing all three assailants. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the attack to the Sinai Province of the Islamic State.
