02/03/2017: Assailants attacked Afghan Local Police (ALP) checkposts in Sayed Ahmed, Nangarhar, Afghanistan. At least five police officers and 12 assailants were killed and five police officers were injured in the ensuing clash. The Khorasan Chapter of the Islamic State claimed responsibility for the incident.
