02/04/2017: Assailants opened fire on a police station in Lawdar, Abyan, Yemen. At least 23 assailants were killed while eight assailants and two police officers were injured in the ensuing clash. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to Al-Qaida in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP).
