Incident Summary:

02/08/2017: Assailants, including suicide bombers, attacked Tall Abtah village in Nineveh, Iraq. This was one of two coordinated incidents in Tall Abtah within a short period of time. At least 22 people, including two soldiers and 20 assailants, were killed in the ensuing clashes with Iraqi Volunteer Forces members. The Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) claimed responsibility for the incident.
