Incident Summary:

02/12/2017: A suicide bomber detonated an explosives-laden vehicle at a police headquarters in Al-Arbaj , Nineveh, Iraq. This was one of two coordinated attacks in the area on the same day. At least one police officer and five assailants were killed and six soldiers were injured across the ensuing clashes. No group claimed responsibility for the incidents; however, sources attributed the attacks to the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).
