Incident Summary:

02/16/2017: Security forces identified and killed two suicide bombers attempting to pass through the Mafa checkpoint near Maiduguri, Borno, Nigeria. The assailants were the only reported casualties. This was one of three coordinated attacks in the area overnight. No group claimed responsibility for the incidents; however, sources attributed the attacks to Boko Haram.
