02/18/2017: Assailants attacked a police post in Khalkham, Kunar, Afghanistan. At least five police officers and 13 assailants were killed in the ensuing clash. In addition, one police officer was reported missing. The Taliban and the Khorasan Chapter of the Islamic State separately claimed responsibility for the incident.
