02/21/2017: An explosive device dropped by a drone detonated near the University of Mosul in Mosul, Nineveh, Iraq. At least three people, including a volunteer fighter, were injured in the blast. This was one of eight similar attacks in the area on this date. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).
