Incident Summary:

02/26/2017: Assailants opened fire on Azaruas Massingue, a community leader, at his residence in Funhalouro, Inhambane, Mozambique. Massingue was injured while his wife, Fatima Meutui, was killed in the assault. This was one of two related attacks in Funhalouro on this date. No group claimed responsibility for the incidents; however, sources attributed the attacks to the Mozambique National Resistance Movement (MNR).
