03/02/2017: Assailants opened fire on Royal Thai Army soldiers shopping at a market in Mayo district, Pattani, Thailand. At least three soldiers were killed and one civilian was wounded in the assault. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources suspected that the attack was carried out by the Barisan Revolusi Nasional (BRN).
