03/03/2017: Assailants opened fire on teachers at a school in Kourfayel, Tongomayel subdistrict, Sahel, Burkina Faso. At least three teachers, including a school director, were killed in the assault. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the attack to Ansar al-Islam (Burkina Faso).
